• Account Credentials & Profile Info: We use third-party authentication services (Clerk and Google Sign-In) to verify your identity. This provides us with your name, email address, profile picture, and account identifier.
• Evaluation Data: Information entered during the self-evaluation process, including written goals, positive habits, supportive artifacts (such as documents or file uploads), ratings, and self-reflection responses.
• Observation & Feedback Data: Evaluator notes, walk-through observations, metrics, rubrics, and feedback submitted by administrators.
• Usage & Technical Data: Dynamic logs, timestamps of module completion, and device information required to maintain secure operations and app diagnostics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process your information for purposes based on legitimate educational and business interest, the fulfillment of our contract with your school district, and compliance with our legal obligations:

• To facilitate account creation and logon process: Allowing secure single sign-on access via Google or Clerk.
• To manage teacher evaluations: Pre-registering teachers, tracking progress, and enabling administrators to log evaluations.
• To deliver services: Storing goal-setting metrics, calculating progress scales, and generating professional PDF evaluation summaries.
• To secure the Platform: Detecting and preventing fraud, unauthorized access, or abuse of database systems.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. Your data is strictly private and is only disclosed under the following circumstances:

• Within Your Educational Organization: Completed evaluations, goals, and observation reports are shared exclusively between the teacher and their authorized school evaluator/administrator.
• With Trusted Service Providers: We utilize secure infrastructure partners—specifically **Clerk** (for user management), **Supabase** (for encrypted database hosting), and **Resend** (for transactional emails). These service providers are legally bound to protect your data and only use it to perform specific technical services for us.
• Compliance with Laws: We may disclose information where we are legally required to do so to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, or a court order.

5. Data Security & Storage

We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to protect the security of any personal information we process. All database records are stored securely in Supabase with strict row-level security policies, and Clerk handles credentials using industry-standard cryptography.

Although we do our best to protect your information, no transmission of data over the internet is 100% secure. You should only access our services within a secure environment.

6. Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

Volition Blueprint operates in compliance with educational privacy expectations. Since the Platform is strictly a **professional evaluation tool for teachers and administrators** and does not host or process student records or student information, it falls outside direct FERPA disclosure rules. However, we maintain the same level of strict data privacy and access control expected in educational environments.
